Order of Business (Old and New):

Non-Profit Number: Mike and Todd are working on our Non-profit 501(c) (19) number and Incorporation Status. Status?

22 September: 2^nd Annual American Soldiers Motorcycle Run: success, raised over 500 for the 169^th FRG and the CVMA.

21, 22, 23 September: Operation Stand-Down Weekend: Success. Thanks to all who participated in this event.

26-27 September: Charlie Battery 103^rd FA Deployment Ceremony/Send-Off and escort mission: Again, a success with approx. 1000 people at the ceremony and almost 50 bikes on the escort the following day.

29 September: Thanks to all who helped us to welcome home the 1207^th Trans. Co.

1 October: Congrats to Felix who received his Purple Heart from Sen. Jack Reed.

Toys for Tot’s Ride:  Today…Hope everyone attending this brought a toy?

October 14^th: CVMA Chicken Dinner Fundraiser:

Jen and Todd Jerdee have secured a Chicken dinner fundraiser for our Chapter at the South Seekonk Gun club 61 Reed Street , Rehoboth Ma. From 1pm-4pm on this date.

Tickets available to sell and this also will support our efforts throughout the year. We will need participation in this event. We must sell 200 tickets and can be mailed to you directly by contacting Mike (State Rep.) or Todd (Treasurer). Or myself. We need a good headcount ASAP to order the meals. Penny social gifts or baskets are needed for this event also.

October 20^th 103^rd FRG meeting in Bristol : Would like to have Barbara Dardeen present the CVMA Check for the first two Boot’s events at this time.

Veteran Plates Committee: Dan Cardosa? I have the  petitions and need to get them to either Dan, His lobbyist or someone who gives a……

Big John Bina Radio Station Fund-Raiser:

We have collected only a few hundred dollars for John and will contribute as our funds arrive to support the station which will be coming together in the next month or so? I have not heard from Big John and do not know what his progress is..Suggestion? We donate an amount to him as soon as he can be contacted with a status?

Hasbro Children’s Hospital: This will be our next big event and is costly to put these gift bags together. Time consuming and need to schedule the event.

Members Dues: We still need to collect membership dues from members who have paid online. And members deploying who need to get a copy of their orders to us to credit them the upcoming year. We are only a few months away from beginning the 2008 member dues again and there are those who still owe the chapter from last year.
